The proposed Webinar Series illuminate the essential role of architectural education in shaping a sustainable and culturally responsive future for the continent. They emphasize the necessity of aligning architectural pedagogy with African values and economic realities, showcasing the incorporation of indigenous knowledge and skills. "Culturally Responsive Architectural Education: Bridging Western Pedagogy and African Values" This theme addresses the need to develop architectural education that respects African cultural values and heritage. The webinar can discuss how architectural programs can incorporate local traditions, building techniques, and cultural values into the curriculum. Participants can explore the benefits of this approach, such as better contextualized designs and a deeper connection between architects and the communities they serve.
